This website is dedicated to the memory of Icelandic sculptress Ólöf Pálsdóttir and her artworks.
The site was launched on April 14, 2020, exactly 100 years after Ólöf Pálsdóttir’s birthday and will feature Ólöf’s most important works, as well as a history of her background and career as an artist.
In the coming months, further content will be added to the site, so it is worth checking for recent updates.
Most of the older photos are from Ólöf’s archives. Information about photographers would be greatly appreciated, as several are unknown. Some of the photos are taken by Ólöf herself. Other known photographers are: Gunnlöð Rúnarsdóttir, Ólafur K. Magnússon, Hrafnhildur I. Thoroddsen, Páll Ólafur Ólafsson and Ólafur Páll Sigurðsson.
