Early Works

In the Faeroe Islands, or Copenhagen, just after the Second World War, with early studies of her father and her young nephew.

The hippopotamus was according to Ólöf the first ever sculpture she made. It was modelled on an ancient Egyptian resident of the Glyptotek Museum in Copenhagen.

Just after the War Ólöf attended classes with Olaf Stær Nielsen, a sculptor and ceramicist.
